My grandfather, Albert Harold Greenfield, was brought up out at Purple Downs in South Australia. My father is called Christopher Michael, my Uncle is Phillip William and my aunty is Elizabeth Helen. I recently began doing some research on my family and came across your website. It is extremely interesting to see some of your other readers comments about their family origins.

I am just beginning to research my family's lineage. Originally from England, William George Greenfield (my grandfather) immigrated to Saskatchewan, Canada, shortly after WW1.

I have been told by family, that they have traced our origins back many hundreds of years, and I am in the process of collecting this information from my cousins.
